🌿 Beloved in Christ,
With joy, I announce a new work within The Ten Step Guide Ministry:
The Certain Women Fellowship.
Who Are the Certain Women?
Scripture tells us that as Jesus traveled preaching the Good News,
“certain women… healed of evil spirits and infirmities” followed Him (Luke 8:1–3).
They were not random followers —
but called women, awakened by His mercy, drawn by His voice, and held by His love.
They are:
- women whom the Lord sees
- women He has restored
- women forgiven much, and therefore loving much
- women who remain close to Him
- women who minister to Him out of their substance
- women who follow faithfully, even when others turn back
But before Scripture names the “certain women” of Luke 8,
Luke 7 introduces us to a woman whose encounter with Jesus opens the doorway to understanding them.
She was not invited.
She was not respected.
She was not welcomed by the religious men at the table.
Yet she came anyway.
Broken with repentance, carrying the weight of her past, she fell weeping at Jesus’ feet.
Her tears washed His feet, her hair dried them, her kisses honored Him, and her alabaster oil anointed Him.
While the Pharisee judged her, Jesus defended her:
“Seest thou this woman? … Her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much…
Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
(Luke 7:44–50)
This unnamed woman — nameless to the world, but known to God — becomes the first glimpse of the Certain Women.
Before there were women who followed Him publicly,
there was a woman who surrendered privately.
Before there were women who ministered to Him,
there was a woman who poured out everything she had at His feet.
Her encounter is the seed that blossoms into the devoted women of Luke 8.
Because in the Kingdom, a woman is not qualified by her past —
but by her response to Jesus.
Women become “certain women” not by perfection,
but by encounter.
By repentance.
By love.
By forgiveness.
By the courage to draw near to Him when others expect you to stay away.
